Who We Are
NULLUM is a fully mobile, zero emission vehicle valeting and detailing service based in Chelmsford, Essex. We built this business from the ground up with one goal: to deliver exceptional vehicle care without harming the environment.
We travel to you - at your home, office, or fleet depot - using a 100% electric vehicle and a solar-powered EcoFlow Delta 3 Pro generator. Every piece of equipment we use runs on clean energy. There are no diesel generators, no fossil fuels, and no compromise on quality.
How Our Hybrid Technique Saves Water
Traditional vehicle washes use 150–300 litres of water per vehicle. NULLUM's hybrid washing technique changes that entirely.
We combine three methods depending on the condition and service:
- 1Rinseless Wash
A specialist solution that lifts and encapsulates dirt without the need for rinsing. Uses as little as 2–4 litres per vehicle.
- 2Waterless Wash
Applied directly to the vehicle surface using a microfibre cloth. Zero water required.
- 3Contactless Snow Foam Pre-Wash
Used selectively for heavily soiled vehicles to safely loosen dirt before a low-water contact wash.
Result: up to 90% less water used per vehicle. Every drop that is used is collected through our professional containment mats and transported to a certified water recycling centre - nothing goes to drain.

Nothing Goes to Drain
Traditional vehicle washing washes chemicals, detergents, and contaminated water directly into surface drains - which is illegal without a trade effluent consent in the UK.
NULLUM uses professional containment mats beneath every vehicle during the wash process. All water and run-off is captured, stored in sealed containers on our vehicle, and transported to a certified water recycling and treatment centre after every service day.
We are fully compliant with Environment Agency guidelines on trade effluent and surface water pollution.
